Erik Soujanen almost never slows down. I’ve realized since I started spending part of my Thursdays there…Even though Thursday is his golf day…He is often found at Gill Dawg. Fixing. Tweaking. Changing. Building. Modifying. He just keeps digging.
Thursday, I found him camped out at the barn bar (his favorite spot), so we recorded a twenty minute update on all the cool stuff Gill Dawg has coming up. For instance:
That’s called a “Craig Cat”, and very soon, they will be offering rental tours in them. I can’t imagine a better way to fish our inshore waters.
He also wanted to talk about “Eco Dawgs”, which will be a youth/student marine science program…It’s a passion of Erik’s to reach kids, and invest them in loving and caring for our local marine environment…That is how you raise kids that will continue to fight for better environmental policy.
He also wanted to make sure and mention there is a GREAT free concert this Sunday at Gill Dawg, to benefit Esther’s School, a school for exceptional kids…TEN BANDS, and a whole lot more great stuff going on:
Always a pleasure catching up with Erik, I learn something new everytime I sit down with him. There is not much he cannot do: He is actually really good at what “I” do, along with the other real world skills that pay the bills.
Stop in and see what a lovely place they’ve built…
