I had a great day on the water, today. We rented a pontoon from Gill Dawg, and Anita and I spent a few magical hours…Floating, drifting, dreaming. I even caught a nice little speckled trout.
It got me primed to answer an email from Adam Dubbin. Adam is the mind behind Save Florida Waters Now…A cause, a movement, and a documentary film project. He guested a few weeks ago, to talk about water quality issues facing Florida. Click the green text to listen.
Adam will be joining me and a few others for a kayak paddle down the Cotee River, from Grey Preserve Park on Rowan Road to the Gulf. Along the way, he’ll share a TON of knowledge with us, about the geology, archaeology, and HISTORY of our local river. We’ll also be collecting trash as we go. If you’re interested in joining us, contact me at [email protected], or message me on Facebook! It’ll be from noon to sunset, then beers and food at Gill Dawg…It’s going to be a great day, I hope you’ll join us.
Also in the cast, today: A shout out to some of the folks that make this show go!
And YOU, gentle listener: None of this would be possible if you were not tuning in, listening, and getting involved! That’s the whole idea: Engage with LOCAL people, and give them information, ideas, and encouragement to go out and make So Local Pasco country better than we found it.
Thank you so much for ‘getting it’!
