Well, now…THIS was unexpected.
My daughter Casie woke up at 5am, Thursday, and saw that I had had a bit of a crisis with the show. We had a plan to help Corey with the Baboon Room tonight, but it turned out to be simpler for Corey to just wing it, show it, and talk about it in the comments. So, she just came over for a visit.
While here, she offered to do the show for me, tonight (the Friday show). I was so excited…Anytime your adult daughter wants to jump in and do your favorite thing, you get the hell our of the way!
So I did.
She wrote it, using my emails from the county, and events on FB. I gave her almost no guidance. She did the show on the third take, start to finish. They only change I made was to take out a single, small gap between words that was just a pause to breathe.
She did an amazing job…She has NEVER done audio production professionally, before…She was serious about recording as a child, I let her do that all the time in my studio.
