So Local Pasco Podcast, Wednesday June 15th, 2016. Luke Walker Longleaf Triathlon Edition

Another LOVELY visit with our friends at the WestSide Deli!  Met new folks, visited oldest of old friend folks, interviewed some OTHER folks, learned about the Longleaf Triathlon, and arranged for MORE, next week!

Congrats to subscriber and listener Britney Sparks, who got the secret word, “WILLIE” from the Monday podcast, and was the FIRST to come tell me, and win a prize!

Britney is a daily listener, and caught the secret word! Congrats, Brit, and THANK YOU for listening!

We bumped into Pasco County Government Affairs Officer Ralph Lair, who we’ve known since 1976!

Mr. Lair was a great source of updates about government emergency ops during Tropical Storm Colin.

Hey, what a nice time I had chatting with Luke Walker, from Natural Choice Pest Control, and the Seven Springs Rotary Club!  Great guy, works hard, puts on charitable events, looks great doing it.  He wanted to talk about the upcoming Longleaf Triathlon…Which benefits some very good local charities, including Metropolitan Ministries, the YMCA, and the Pasco Pack a Sack 4 Hungry Kids charity.

The Longleaf Triathlon has multiple classes and options for participants...As well as volunteer and sponsorship opportunities.

I had to break the news to Bob and Deb today that I am seeing another restaurant on the side…But they were okay with it, because they are CRAZY good people.

Anyway, I had lunch with Jose Delgado, and Leo, at Tapas Gastro Lounge on Ridge Road, today!  Jose decided to become a sponsor of our show, and we are really excited about that, as you can imagine!

THESE guys! Great food, low prices...This could be come a regular hang.
