Like it always happens…One person doing good and making a positive impact on our community leads me to another. Travis Morehead called me, this week, to tell me about something his friend Dave McKitrick was doing…Essentially giving away several home health care hours to those in need. No strings. No gimmicks. He’s in the Home Health Business, and wants to do something nice for those who need the care, but can’t afford it.
Too good to pass up. So he’s on the podcast, today. You can reach Dave via his website, Freedom Expansion, by email at [email protected], or by phone at (727)286-3176. Act fast, I have a feeling these hours will go quickly!
We also want to make sure and let you know about the “Boobie Bus” breast cancer fundraiser happening on Saturday. I apologize for not getting you an interview with Jeanie Johnston or Jeffrey Stipe, the two mad hatters who are putting on this event…But here are the details:
The crew is meeting up at The HandleBar in Hudson, to decorate the trolley at 1pm. At 2, the bus leaves on a bar crawl to several locations…You can join the party by buying a ticket (there MAY BE a few left)…Or car pool with the trolley, or just meet them at any of the stops…Get some drinks, donate some money, have a great time!
Here is the APPROXIMATE schedule:
Leaving the HandleBar at 2pm
Tarpon Turtle 3:00-3:45
Eagles Nest Lounge 4:15-5:00
Gill Dawg’s/Seaside 5:30-6:15
Get Hooked 7:45-8:30
Please understand, this is only an approximation
You can reach Jeanie on Facebook messenger.
Our friends at The HandleBar have some great music lined up for you, this weekend: We hope you’ll get out for Markus Lee on Friday night, and then the 3rd Degree Band on Saturday!
