There’s not a lot to write about, tonight…Just a reminder:
Folks are sometimes confused about the process of what I do…It SOUNDS like live radio, because I am working hard to make it sound like live radio. However, I pre-record the interviews, including the Saturday Music Cast.
Last week, the planned guests had to drop out, and I put out a notice on Facebook asking for a guest…Three different bands responded with “We can’t, we have a gig Saturday”. This means they thought the show, as it airs on Saturday was a live show. It isn’t!
I would be THRILLED to stockpile some interviews! So, if you are a band, or a musician, and you would like to be on the Music Cast, CALL ME UP! We can get the interview in the can, and schedule it to be aired later. Once it has aired, folks can go back and listen at any future point, as they are hosted on the So Local Pasco website, pretty much forever!
The same is true for guests on the ‘regular’ So Local Pasco Podcast. Please don’t hesitate to call me, and get on the show! If you have an event coming up that benefits the community, by all means, let’s cover it! With less and less ‘traditional’ reporting going on, We are a great option to get coverage for your event, cause, or charity.
You can reach me at (727)859-8537, or via email at [email protected]…Or look for me on Facebook either under my name, or So Local Pasco.
Here’s a few things that are happening this weekend:
My guests on the Saturday Music Cast this weekend will be John, Rick and Father Bill from Past Due! We had a great talk, and they played us a couple of songs…Tune in Saturday for that!
Oh, hey! Best wishes for a speedy recovery to our correspondent Daylina Miller, who had surgery this week to repair her deviated septum…She’s cranky and sounds like a goose, but she’s recovering nicely. She’ll be sticking her nose in soon enough (see, she’s a journalist, so that’s what she DOES!).
Get well, Day! See you soon.
