So Local Pasco Podcast, April 26th, 2016. Community Drum Circle, Big Fun on the Bayou Edition

There are some truly incredible people, out there in So Local Pasco…And I feel like I hardly know them, yet.  I have a feeling their stories are bigger and more amazing than I know…And I almost always feel like I want to know them better.  I guess that is part of what suits me, in this job.  Getting to know more, and better, is the name of the game.

There are a few people that turn up, repeatedly, doing good, and SUPPORTING those doing good, in our area. More than a few, I am sure…but a few I see, every time.  Rides for fallen heroes?  There.  Horse Farm fundraiser for autistic kids?  There.  Fundraiser for Foster Families?  There.  Amazing.

That person trying to hide behind me is Laura, who seems to be everywhere, all the time, doing good, and being supportive. Too shy.

Laura asked me, this week, if I would be so kind as to promote HER pet event…The New Port Richey Drum Circle and Community.  Every TIME I try to shorten it, she reminds me that COMMUNITY is the part she wants in there.  So there it is.

Laura is a community focused AGENT of change, and growth, in West Pasco County.  She LIVES.IT. Everyday.  As I get to know her, I find more things, more causes, more activism she has her hand in…And that makes me very happy.  It’s why she joins me on the podcast, today…To promote HER community event:

Great FREE local music event! Participate, dance, play drums, etc!

Some of the folks in this photo came all the way down from Spring Hill and Weeki Wachee to lend support to the circle...SURELY you can, as well!?

Please come out Wednesday night, to support this event at Gill Dawg!  Showing the community our support makes us all stronger, and better.
