Special Edition Post, So Local Pasco. Sunday, April 17th, 2016.

I want to thank Tommy Howington, the music coordinator for asking me to participate in the Relay For Life New Port Richey Events on Saturday, April 16th, 2016.  It was an honor and a privilege to introduce all the great bands that participated:  Marshall Law (they played TWO sets!), The Bearded Brothers, Monkeybone, Hot Mess, Gulf High Jazz Fusion, and the Elfers Baptist Praise Team all played their hearts out, and many of those musicians broke down their gear and went on to play other gigs around town…A HUGE effort.

I know Tommy, Jean, and Brian Mandell and a couple of other volunteers were there late into the night breaking down and moving all the sound gear.  Make sure if you run into Tommy, you give him a big hug, and recognize the massive task he took on, this year.

I want to thank EVERYBODY who was so warm and welcoming to me…I have never participated in Relay For Life, it was great to be asked, and I am already looking forward to participating in the next one.

Also, don’t forget:  HUDSON has Relay For Life Events THIS Saturday, at Fivay High School!
