So Local Pasco Podcast, April 11th, 2016. Relay for Life New Port Richey Edition

This weekend.  The New Port Richey Relay for Life is this weekend!

It seems like just yesterday, we had Tommy Howington in, to talk about the music lineup for Relay for Life.

Oh, hey…Also, it is in Sims Park, this year.  I think it’s great that the park is IMMEDIATELY active with a ton of upcoming events in the next month.

Relay for Life is a HUGE event, and generates a lot of good will, awareness, and money for the fight against cancer.

I guess I am learning that some folks only read the blogpost, and some only listen to the podcast.  Let me say this:  The podcast and the blog posts are designed to be consumed in support of each other.  This is not a transcript of the podcast…Please utlilize BOTH.

A BIG event is in the offing, an event by So Local Pasco!  The ladies at Rock the Boat Productions are involved, so it is bound to be delicious and fun and smart.  Details (HAHA!)* in the podcast.
*there are no details, only more teasing

Lia, Kacey and Kira put on a BOATLOAD of events for the betterment of our community! Watch what THEY do, and do MORE of THAT!

I guess I should not let this pass without mention:

Evidence of terrible violence in our town, this week.  A double stabbing that resulted in a tragic death.  The young man killed worked at a place I frequent.  He was a charming kid.  This always makes me wish I had known the person better.  Make the most of opportunities to get to know your neighbors.  Bake two loaves of bread…Share one.

Don’t let these things take away your desire for human contact.  Reach out.  Connect with folks in a meaningful way.

It's very late.
