So Local Pasco Podcast, March 24th, 2016. ONE HUNDRED PODCASTS Edition.

ONE HUNDRED.  One hundred podcasts.  I’ve done something creative one hundred times.  I’ve written about 800 words PER podcast, so that is…*terrible at math*… EIGHTY THOUSAND words!  I’m genuinely excited about this milestone.  It’s a creative, scary, fun, weird, baffling adventure…And that is just on TUESDAYS!

I was thinking today…A lot of podcasts are weekly, or even monthy.  Having a daily commitment to meet has made me better, faster, than I would be, I think, if I did a weekly show. I am in a very comfortable place, as far as what I need to do to make a show, every day.

Anyway, here are a few pics of loquat trees, loquat fruit, and a harvest to get you set…They are delicious, fresh, and made into preserves, sauces…Even wine, according to Travis Morehead.

Harvesting loquats is easy!

That is a LOT of loquats!
That is a LOT of loquats!

At the tail end of today’s podcast, I mentioned three music groups that I listen to and think you might like.  Maybe not, that’s okay.  Instead of just listing the names, here are links to the songs I mentioned:

Redbird, 4 and 20 Blues

Avett Brothers, Murder in the City

Milk Carton Kids, Snake Eyes

I close by telling you, once again, dear listeners and readers…I am truly humbled that you are following along.  It is deeply gratifying and meaningful that you want to share my life with me…And that IS what we are doing:  Sharing a life and our time.  So thank you.

Tomorrow, a TON of local music information, as I get ready to do the weekly tour of music and events!  This week, that will include rock, country, folk, hip hop, gentle acoustic, and who knows WHAT else I might find, out there…And I remind you that YOU should get out and experience all of that, in So Local Pasco country!
