So Local Pasco Podcast, March 11th, 2016. Travis Morehead Grand Garden Edition

I sat down Thursday for an interview with Travis Morehead, Lead Facilitator at the Grand Garden (they want me to tell you, EVERY TIME, that it’s at the corner of Grand and Georgia, downtown New Port Richey).  He has an intriguing blend of characteristics, which make him really tempting for an interviewer…And, it turns out, the shaping of Travis was as interesting as his current work.

That’s why this podcast is our new record holder for length, in the DAILY cast, at almost 18 minutes.

Travis Morehead holds several important positions related to the Grand Garden, and local food policy and environmental policy groups.

I wish I could tell you the best days are easy…But they aren’t.  Thursday was an excellent day for So Local Pasco.  Many things fell into place, and all things seem possible.  But there was just too much Thursday, for me.  As I write this, it is 2:23 am, and there appears to be an internet service interruption.  Because I had so much to do, I did not even start to edit the interview til after midnight…I CAN upload the podcast over my phone, but it may take another hour.

SO, I rush to complete this blogpost, knowing that when I am done, I STILL have to wait for the large audio file to upload to the website…Still have to link it to our social media pages…Still have to get up, and go make a TV show, tomorrow.  OOF.

So, short list of things happening this weekend:

So Local Pasco TV, Friday, 3:30-4pm
Railroad Square Block Party Saturday 12-4
Corey Cottrell at Skinny’s, Saturday night 8-12
The Gulf High Hootenanny, Sunday, 12-4

Those are just the things I am going to!  Lots more happening…Will blog post later in the day!
