So Local Pasco Podcast, February 8th, 2016. Rockin Horse Farm/Horse Connection Edition

The podcast is a little long, today, for good reason.

Let me tell you something:

I am becoming more convinced as the weeks roll by that if you want something done in So Local Pasco  country, you should talk to the bikers. Sunday, I was out with folks representing Florida Bikers Helping Florida Bikers, to support an amazing project called Horse Connection at Rockin’Horse Farm.

The Monday podcast features interviews with two of the ladies that run the program, and one young lady who has been a part of the therapy program since she was seven years old.

I also want to tell you about the several dozen people who got up Sunday morning, and rode in cold weather to contribute their MONEY and time to support the work. I wrote some of this sitting in Mama Kathy’s Hideaway.

“The bar is busy, and there’s a TON of supporters out in the lot. The food is hot, the beer is cold, and people are buying raffle tickets a dozen at a time. It’s pretty amazing.”
