Well, this will be interesting, I think. I got riled up, and a little righteously indignant Thursday evening, over a proposed ordinance in New Port Richey that would BAN convenience stores. Far fetched, you say? The NPR City Council is slated to vote on it February 2nd.
I made sure, in the podcast, to invite someone from the city to contact me, and lay out details. I may be wrong…But I think this decision will have a negative impact on the working poor in downtown.
Looking ahead to the weekend, some severe weather is possible on Friday morning, but then clear, cooler, and breezy…Good time to get out and enjoy all that “So Local Pasco” has to offer.
Why, you might even catch ME out and about! Had a GREAT time, last Friday night, for the Bearded Brothers, the place was jumpin’, friendly, and excellent!

Once again, this weekend, The HandleBar in Hudson rolls out THREE bands! Friday night, catch Dead Serious at the HandleBar:
Saturday, from 2-6pm, catch Tampa Rockers The Borderline Band…Classic Rock, and a touch of modern Country!
Then, on SUNDAY, stuff gets CRAZY! Lawless Intent from 2 to 6pm, and that converges with the DonV Birthday Bash, hosted by The Big Ragoo, and Tina the Redheaded Step Child! Carmine (The Big Ragoo) was our FIRST podcast interview, here on So Local Pasco.
I’ll be there from 2 to 4, at least!
It’s going to be a good weekend! Bright, cold, blue skies…Smell of oak wood burning in fireplaces…The BEST kind of crisp weather! I’ll see you out there.
