So Local Pasco Podcast, December 31st, 2015, New Years Eve Edition!

Here we are.  December 31st, 2015, New Years Eve.  I’ve done almost all I can do to make sure everyone gets ‘the word’…That no one has to make bad decisions, that everyone who needs to can get home safe.  New Years Eve is a strange holiday, for me.  I have not had a drink on New Years Eve since 1986.  REAGAN was President.  Wine coolers were a new invention.  The number one hit was “Walk Like an Egyptian”, by The Bangles!

Yes, kids…I am very old.  And very wise. So, take some advice from an old drunk, and take it easy.  Set limits, make a plan, get home safe and alive…For I’ve known too many people who didn’t.

Now, some New Years Wishes:

For Mike, Pat, Dave, and Mark, a PROSPEROUS year of gigs and good gear.

For our sponsors, Salon Joseph Michael and A First Step Counseling, tons of calls from our constant listeners on So Local Pasco.

For my friends at Pasco Kids First, comfort, joy, and hope for you, and those that you serve.

For Tina and the Big Ragoo, endless ribbons of great road, fair winds, and frequent friendly stops along the way.

For Barry Horvath, and all the other “Grinchers” at the WPBA, the strength and spirit to continue the good work you ALL do.

For my family, growth, learning, and love to you all.

And for myself, no wishes, just resolve…Not “Resolutions”, but resolve:  The fortitude to be a better person…To strive for understanding of all views…To have empathy for all people, in all places, of all cultures.  To continue being a peaceful warrior, and to try to leave things better than I found them.

Happy New Year, Friends.  See you next year.

~Greg
