So Local Pasco Podcast, Thursday December 24th, 2015, ASAP Safe Ride Program Edition

Christmas Eve!  Can you believe it?  I can’t…2015 just seemed to fly by, for me.  It is a time when many of us reflect on the year, and all the heartbreak and victory it contained.  Next week, it’s safe to say, many of us will begin looking forward, hoping to make 2016 a great year.

If you know me in real life, you know I am ‘that guy’…If someone posts something false on the internet, I feel a compulsion to correct it…ESPECIALLY if it is something that could hurt people.  One of the things that comes up every year on Facebook is “Tipsy Tow”…The posts often erroneously report that “Tipsy Tow” is available anywhere, nationwide, during the holiday season.  The problem is, it ISN’T.  Not to take anything away from AAA for providing such a service, they DO, in many areas of the country…But NOT everywhere.  My worry about this is that someone may count on it, find out it’s wrong when they are already drinking, and make a bad decision about driving home, endangering their own lives, and the lives of others.
